Yesterday's guest

Yesterday's Guest

She was here with me, every single day,
Walked beside me even i shoohed her away.
In prayer she left, kept her distance a stone.
Shamelessly she came back, her pleasure to be near and stayed.

"Think of the dark days, i forever would stay" she said.
She was glad the sky was heavy, she was glad the rain was pouring again.
Forced me to smile, in awry way.
She thought she was right, i thought the otherwise.

The beauties she truly sees, in sorrow and envy,
Before the coming light, before the better days,
She talked, i dumbfounded to list.
Till the day i learned to know,
It was vain to let her stay, or to tell her so.
So I let her go, she walked away she said "i'll be near if u let me to".
